Correct, she is essentially human. Without her ears, she lost her abilities to hear and communicate with the different species, and by breaking the restrictions on the spear and armor, she lost her divinity. There's a point where she's thinking about it and it says she's no different from a normal girl. She also hits her head against a handrail and hurts because she forgot she doesn't have her typical strength. The reason her hair gets darker is because she is losing her strength. It's getting darker because it's no longer "tinged by the moonlight," which I assume is something of a gauge or the source of her power.
