Jungle Emperor special

You all know about that series from the 60's called Jungle Emperor (commonly known as Kimba the White Lion) by Tezuka Osamu, right? Well, I read that there's going to be a TV special for it that's gonna air in October. I have proof.

Apparently Taniguchi Goro (Code Geass) is directing it and Amano Yoshitaka (Final Fantasy) is designing the characters. I'm really liking how the characters are drawn, especially Leo (I should be calling him Kimba, but I'm gonna call him Leo since it's his real name) who is SO DURNED CUTE!!! I'm watching the original 1966 dub somewhere (PM me if you wanna know where to watch it) and I'm liking it so far. I've seen up to episode 4. I hear people used to watch it when they were kids (I'm not one of them). Does anyone remember this Tezuka classic? Then speak!
