Okay, a long time ago on Google Image Search, I saw a Higurashi game screenshot of a woman who looked vaguely like Hanyuu. However, she was older, had no horns and a number of white tails. Could have easily been fake. I didn't save the image and can no longer find it. 
Since then, I've seen a character that resembles a more loli version of her in a number of placer, usually with elflike ears- http://bad-end.org/kareha/src/1176697042792.jpg or http://rinrin.saiin.net/~moonlight/oya.html for instance. She is often referred to as Oyashiro-sama (written... well, my Japanese won't input properly on this forum, but it's the kanji for "tail eight white." Pretty obvious, huh?)
My main question: is she official or a fan invention? I'd appreciate any other information anyone has on her, though.

As far as I know, that is a fan-made character made to represent Oyashiro-sama before Hanyuu was introduced. She was in that Higurashi/Lucky Star video too.
