Interesting, they mixed (or rather, extracted) events from both volume 3 and 4 and combined them into one episode. And surprisingly, it worked quite well.

The next episode is going to be the second part of the love potion story / Tabitha+Kirche's mission. With this, the anime pretty much covered vol.4 except it's main plot (which is alright, since it wouldn't make sense without finishing vol.2 and 3 first anyway).

Hopefully, they'll do the love potion story right. In the next episode, I look forward to seeing,

And surprisingly, it worked quite well. Spoiler for this episode: The open bath scene was taken from vol.3, but they used it as way to tie into vol.4's love potion story. Siesta's talk about her great-grandfather also served as a good guide towards the latter part of vol.3, which will be the anime's finale. Tabitha's return home with Kirche was also taken from vol.4, and as a whole, it was done excellently. We got to see a child/younger Tabitha here as well, which was not shown in the novel.
