This anime doesn't seem too good at keeping secrets, huh...? Mr. Voice in Head must be, with almost no doubt, that red-haired guy from the OP...
Part of my soul, and stuff... Saw this in another anime (name kept secret). I wonder if this was supposed to be some amazing plot twist...
Anyways, coming into Abyss with no knowledge...
OP/ED get a double-thumbs up!! Quite wonderful.
This episode was Tales-like, but I guess it can't be helped there. Between all of the terminology and rather fast developments, I found it to be quite interesting. Looking forward to the next episode.
Voice-wise, Luke's voice was younger than I expected, but got used to it quickly.
Character-wise, not much impression so far. Basic protagonist (liveliness is good), friend who's actions/words might seem "gay" (as previous posters described it), some strange siren girl (great disturbance, ne), and others that I have no description for.
Animation is pretty (rather, very) good, but... at various times, the art/drawing/what you want to call it gets... kind of "hilarious", in a bad way. Even though it's fine when the faces are close to the screen...
Preview: Waiting for Neuro-sama~~
