Not sure if she staged it all...but then again, Sasuke would kill her without a second thought, and she knows that. So why go find him? Karin's at the best stage to retire from the manga: prisoner who can't really do anything except maybe heal Naruto so that he can fight with Sasuke. Oh wait...
