I've begun to think Rosa was more like Maria when she was little, as the youngest of four siblings who appear to have a 10-to-15 year age gap between the oldest and youngest. But as she got older the whole "YOU ARE A HEIR" thing got dumped on her, and by the time she saw Beatrice fall off the cliff, her old view on the world was pretty much gone. And now that Maria has it, she ain't happy.
