Virgo chose not to go all out with him iirc. That's not a "defeat" in the common usage of the word.

More like she saved Kouga actually. Though Yuna had to be saved by Kouga 2 times: In the cancer temple(though she ended up saving him) and in the Pisces Temple. And 3 times by Eden, in the Pisces Temple, at the end of episode 48, and at towards the end of last episode. (I would mention the time in the Virgo temple, but he was saving everybody there, not just her). So Yuna is not really stronger than Eden or Kouga. But she is definitly stronger than Haruto, Souma and Ryuho.

So considering this I am really glad she is not the one who defeats Apsu next episode, because if neither Eden or Aria's staff (or even Medea) were able to do anything against him (even though they are way stronger). Then it would have been kind of bad writing if she were to suddenly be able to become so supperiorly stronger. So the real Athena and a Legendary Saint fit more for this role.

Truly doubt that Yuna is stronger than Souma or Ryuho. Haruto could prob kick her butt too. Abzu took out the guys before dealing with Yuna. Souma got most hits out of all of them followed by Ryuho. Most people take out the strongest fighters first and then deal with the weakest last.
