Actually, how many of us knew about Touhou before this? Reading back on the posts in this thread it seems like all of us who posted
knew of Touhou, barring the odd ambiguously worded posts. Considering how many Touhou MADs and remixes are sprinkled around
the net youtube, an anime might not make that much of a splash with new fans unless it really plays to a genre. Maybe if they try their hardest to not make the characters moe, the fanbase won't even shift
