Yea, but I guess since there are so many people involved and saying out loud might hurt other people since there was no proof to begin with.

They did not know sending the dead back would solve the problem, and if they followed their thoughts and judged who was the dead without solid proof, it would end up in disaster as it happened as in first half of the last ep.
Everyone was mad at Sakakibara when he talked to Masaki after he got transferred there, and later he was treated as non-existed one too. None of their words would be taken seriously.

So, yea you would not regret after telling the truth; hence, finished your part. But, you will end up getting yourself into trouble and nothing would get solved > <
