I beg to differ. For Lucky Star, the charm of the anime is the strips coming to life, with voice acting and music. The ton of Haruhi references can be irritating. Later in the manga, you tend to appreciate the lack of product placements.

In K-On's case, there is simply not enough volumes to tell the story. We have like what? 2 volumes at the most?
