I'm actually glad that someone noticed the tears pattern. I've heard Moonlight tears from Asriel and Lunatic, Endless tears from Ayane. Moonlight tears imo, is a song that can go well in the anime.

Shiori is from the original 11 eyes that made an appearance again with Kaori due to their fans requesting that they have bigger parts (I think). Mio and Kanae are in the Crossover story, which is another story that has some relation to the original.

If they are following the game, it's basically about Kakeru and Yuka encountering a red night incident. However, after almost getting killed in the first encounter, the red night ends just in time. Time in the real world is the same as if nothing happened. (When Red Night incident happens, the entire world is dyed in red and time in real world does not move at all. Also, any damages done during the red night incident does not transcend into the real world. E.g. if i blow up a car in the red night, the same car in the real world won't even have a scratch. So for those who were not caught in it, they wouldn't even notice anything) Continuous red night incidents led them to meeting the other characters.

If you want more details I can PM you the plot although it won't be 100% accurate since I played the game with a translation program that made the translated dialogue into really REALLY broken english

The guy is like the main character .

He does not have glam sight though and the reason for that eye patch is really stupid, but I can be wrong because I went through the visual novel with really broken grammar after all
