Maybe there's a mechanism that deleted 'unauthorized' media you downloaded previously.

The original BitTorrent™ has
announced a variety of deals with the studios. Last December BitTorrent
acquired µTorrent as well. These deals were all
designed to create the BitTorrent Entertainment Network which uses BT technology to distribute DRM-encumbered versions of major studios' product. One of BitTorrent's partners is Kadokawa Pictures USA.
Things like this make me stick with open-sourced products like Azureus. With all the code out there in the open, people can make sure the BT client isn't doing something untoward in the background.
