re: Sana's parents...

It doesn't take much of a leap to work out a scenario that supports his situation. They need to keep their jobs. I know it is a thing we all love to have, but hey it isn't that easy to keep a job and a family life. They had to move from their town 5 years ago for what ever reason, but my bet it was work related. They had to put Sana up through private school which costs a wee bit more meaning that if they are not affluent they really need their jobs or need to take out a loan. Then they see their son still suffering. Remember the suicide didn't happen last week. So they allowed him to live back in his home to hopefully regain his ability to socialise. And it actually worked!

What would you do? Let him stay locked up in his room and become a hikimori, well at least you know he is safe... Throw away your jobs and not be able to support a life?

You know what is one of the most important parts of parenting? It is called letting go.
