Yep, the first name listed on the original art is Kira-Inugami
It's also listed as her work in Japanese in Chinese wiki.
According to the wiki, she stated in her blog that the reason for using Hiragana was because at time she thought the words in her Kanji might be to too hard to pronounce properly.
