A nice ending, and enjoyed it pretty much. Aside from some pints this episode left a good impression, just like the few previous ones.
Mouth sync was out of shape in some Renji scenes, though this flaw has been frquent through the series whenever some "dramatic" speech is taking place.
I wonder how Renji ended up so battered up by gathering few of the pages ... did he get to fight some rabid dogs for them ?
Their reunion felt kinda overdramatic ...they could have done without the last "Renji-kun!" / "Chihiro!"
Although the scene was overdramatic, i still loved the clock scene and Chihiro breaking her bounds, as cheezy as it was. The ever present symbolism in all its glory, and i liked what i got.
An unexpectedly happy end for everyone, and i enjoyed seeing the casual life moments that followed. So ... when are Hiro and Miyako sending out wedding invitations ? Those two sure look like a married couple already
(And the romance fan within me is definitely pleased and purring in satisfaction).
Looks like Kei is doing just fine, and it even seems her personality has lost some of that nasty edge it had. Getting all her frustration over Hiro out of her system seems to have gone a long way, and it seems something is developing between her and Kyousuke as well.
The "closing lines" of each character reminded me of a play indeed ... and ef has been an usual, but overall enjoyable and rewarding play to follow.
Yuuko still remains the unfathomable existence that seems to pop up every now and then though. Even though i hate the OP visuals, i like the changes they did to reflect the recent developments in the series. A nice touch indeed.
A good closure to a good show, and i know i am going to miss it.
