And people listen to the people who judge, not the people who actually have to put it through. Most news reporters are 100% unqualified to judge people. Media calls it unbiased judgement. I call it moronic.
Put simply: A SWAT officer put his life on the line to save lives. An Accountant at the Police station will then demand the SWAT officer's resignation for firing two too many bullets to save one life. That actually happens, you know. Because after all, it's not the accountant's life on the line, and the accountant doesn't give a rat's about how many lives were saved, he's concerned with how much money they've wasted saving lives.
On a personal note, I am finding it increasingly difficult if not impossible to care for people who hold me wholly responsible for problems they themselves get into on a regular and recurring basis. My moving and living in Australia is NOT the reason why you are having massive floods in the Philippines, believe it or not.
