4. So if I'm understanding this right, a Shinki went through a blender and survived? And the first scene last episode showed the pink-haired Shinki getting impaled by the Strarf model, and she didn't seem worse for the wear. Holy crap, they're pretty much indestructible, aren't they?

5. So we've got indestructible robots armed with lethal weapons flying around. Why has this not been exploited for military purposes? Why is the world not a war-ravaged wasteland haunted by the memories of 6-inch tall super soldiers yet?

6. 10:30. Why is she talking to Lene's crotch?

Well.....Look in the spoiler for my response to your questions.

Spoiler:

1) Howling and MaoChao provoked the Octoupus from the looks. Nothing more can be said from my end.

2) Probably, just kept in the all time low. I did hear of a Master that died and a Shinki named Artemis going rogue, to the point of controlling the whole web in sorrow. You had to fight her in an MMO called Battle Rondo which is now dead. As for any other? All hush hush....for now.

3) Patience my young Padawan. Serious...patience. We're getting there, just takes time depending on the studio. If 8 Bit studio won't give us one then petition White Fox Studios to pick it up because of how well they did Katangatari and Jormungand. If it gets into legal issues then blah.

4) Well, Shinkis aren't biological so their systems can survive just a bit longer separately. Seeing as how you can swap parts to customize them I'm going to assume the "fine-detailings" are positioned all so carefully to mind the combat making it easier to swap damaged parts, or to customize. I'll also assume it all depends on the head and the CSC cores in the breasts being left intact enough to be functional if fully delimbed in combat. Pink haired Shinki is named Eukrante if you've been wondering, she had a hologram building drop on her yet only registered pain via the program. Ever watch Star Trek? Do you know of the Holodeck? Ya, interact with such in and out of battles, expect for when moving around the world. If you see a stadium or a visualizer gadget take note of holograms. In the park they fought using the Visualizer gadget while Rihito (main character) used it as a Diorama Studio device (another program from the dead Battle Rondo MMO) to please his Shinkis.

5) If you watched the Moon Angel OVA you'll notice they tried with Athena. They also tried to do so with Arnval and Strarf in that lab only to have Arnval flee. She turned into Tempesta to wreck havoc. Just like with #2, it has been kept at a low-point.

6) She isn't? Just positioned that way when talking to Arnval (Ann). One of those random fan-service poses.

Hope this helped. The only thing that bugs me about the show is how they spawn their equipment at will instead of taking the time to equip it. The rest is fine.

Ya, I'd have fun using the Visualizer for my figure Shinkis along with the real ones. For when it gets cold (-40*C with windchill) that Visualizer would come in handy, photoshooting wise. Though, if I had an actual living Shinki I'd use it constantly for their sake. But if I had to settle with anything I would want a real Shinki Renge to wreck havoc with in my area, basically to spice things up heh.

So...Shinkis actually have a feature that allows them to "eat" and to analyze food in the process eh? This still surprises me, even though I saw the ED with Arnval for the Moon Angel OVA with the spilled milk being licked off her face then finger. I'll use the theory stated here because it makes the most sense out of anything right now.
