Wow, this one managed to completely escape my attention. When I saw the torrent on TT and the title didn't ring a bell I checked it out on anidb expecting it to be some misplaced hentai or an 1980s OVA.

But what a pleasant surprise it was! Too bad it lacks a big budget. But if you have the money you invest it in safer bets anyway I fear.

I soon expected that we'll have

a "human" that turns out to be an android

but I also expected this to be a major plot twist towards the middle or the end of the mini-series. So I was surprised.

Now I wonder if

the holographic ring is not only for identification and status messages but also indicates some kind of restrained mode? But the ringless male android in the cafe was still behaving very robotic. Maybe it's an older model.
