I miss the old dangerous but manageable ninja. He was easy to root for. Naruto fanboys want him to be badass and uber cool, but I liked the old goofy Naruto who got by on guts(at least we thought he did at the time). But I guess this was unavoidable being the main character in a Shonen manga.
