before the Zone of the Enders orbital frame design which was NSFW intentional, there was the Turn A Gundam, or is it one of those Yuusha robot series combinations involving a jet landing on the main mecha's crotch?
Age's mecha designs are great but the setting lacks the traditional feel of the Gundam series, being psychologicaly dark & gritty set in somekind of apocolyptic universe, in this case the realism of a war thorn world, which is according to what Hino said but somehow does NOT seem to made it, ended up in the final script
in another meaning, it lacks the big OMMMPH!!! effect
