Well voices are always going to be subjective to a degree. Still, will say when it comes to Teddie I'd say the new voice isn't as good, but it's going from "absolutely great" to "just good." As someone who beat the PS2 version a few times you can definitely tell the difference.
On the positive I think it can be universally agreed that Chie's voice in the Japanese version rules over all
