Glad to know I wasn't the only one to notice that. Those frames were beautifully animated and I personally found them a lot more interesting than the piano and drum playing scenes. Don't get me wrong since the piano and drum playing was absolutely amazing as well but that was to be expected since we know that it's rotoscoped. The fluidity of those small takes on the other hand reminded me of the animation in some of the more interesting animated movies I've seen.
