It's not really "could do anything" so much as "want to do anything". Sasuke would probably grab a pair of pom poms and cheer Madara's carnage on. But first, he has to kill Kabuto. Sadly, I now am starting to think Kishimoto will wuss out and simply have Sasuke verbally reprimand Kabuto, leaving the snake man to whimper and be over-dramatic in his little cave.
That being said, I am very hopeful that Madara did survive.
