I've read they did some changes to movie versions of Clannad and Air, seeing as it's a different studio as I've also read, it might have a different interpretation than in the game with regards to plot progression. They might do away with some of the elements like Kurugaya's or Rin's in favor of leading up to the "end", and then whoosh "travel time", whoosh "Refrain".

(Leaving out "the secret of the world" entirely, and just having the "two of them" perform the miracle immediately)

Which would mean the entire Key fanbase, who watches anime too, goes nuclear.

How did they handle it in Clannad or AIR in the TV? The former especially, with the lights mechanic which is echoed in Little Busters!.

In addition: Also, the Kanata route is heavily dosed with the other girls' (and Kengo's) impression revolving around the "secret", it's not merely showing off Kanata's side of the twin's story.
