Nice, a vanship race! This episode was obviously very reminiscent of Last exile's seventh ep. I figured out right way Fam and Gisey would win by purging their fuel, what I didn't expect (and neither did the champion) was that Fam would use the hook to be able to take that turn at full speed. That was a well thought out move, albeit a dangerous one.
It looks the people of Anatoray have already settled on earth? Some of them, at least. I'm surprised they've managed to stay under the radar. Maybe they're only a very small vanguard.
I hope Alvis will show up soon. I'm dying to see her.

I don't know about key player, but just like other posters, I'm sure she will return. They wouldn't waste Maaya Sakamoto on a one-shot character, would they?
