The last update about a Gundam Seed movie I heard was in March of 2008 the article said that the Seed movie had delayed because Chiaki Morosawa who was the writer for Seed, Seed Destiny and the new Seed movie had been ill which was why it had been delayed.

Also GN0010 in the last couple of months for the Astray series they have had new versions of the Strike, Buster, Providence, Duel, Savior, and Blitz Gundams it's what this new group called Librarian that the introduce in the Gundam Seed Vs Atray does they don't design there own suits instead use redesigned suits based off of existing models. So any new version of the Freedom could very well be related to that.
