Unliek some like Bleach and One Piece, this is a story of a Clan/Family so it would be weird for it to end without telling us the future of it and who Rikuo's wife will be an an essential part of it.

As far as the Manga goes... I stopped seeing her as a possible option long, long time ago ^_^;
