Well that was a big omgwtf moment. There's a lot of conversation this episode, and the big revelations include 1) 15 years ago, the Aswald were being led around by the Windbloom's Interior Minister's plans 2) John Smith took Rena's body and is now trying to use it to create a new Shinsou (i.e. to create a race of Otome just for Nagi), and 3) Midori is forever 17 years old and Rado is all cyborg now because of the sickness that ravages the Aswald. I'm still not quite sure how Yohko fits into that last point, but this is a big step forward in the story. Oh and because of what happened to Erstin, Arika refuses to use her Otome powers. I'm guessing that she and Mashiro getting swallowed up will lead them to a bonding that will change Arika's mind or something like that.
