It's spring now, but the weather is still a bit chilly, so I cooked something spicy that would keep me warm inside. I have always loved the combination of hot and sour flavour;it makes one's eating experience so much more enjoyable. I usually opt for the vegetarian version since seafood is quite costly, but today I decided to spend some extra cash as a treat to myself. I normally eat tom yum just as it is without noodles, but I was extra hungry today, so I ate the tom yum with bihun. Bihun is the best type of noodle for tom yum, because it absorbs the soup, so that when you eat the bihun, the flavour of the tom yum is inside the bihun.
