It is like Toradora not because of the characterizations, but because of how the love relationship is apparently going to play out.

a) In a symbiotic relationship with Momo. Helping her to become an Otaku to capture her love interest, Suzuki Souta. Initially, it was due to Momo knowing his secret that he's an Otaku (something he doesn't want people to know). Now, has developed a friendship.

b) In a symbiotic relationship with Naoki. Helping him to become a Riajuu to capture his love interest, Hasegawa Midori. Starting to develop deeper feelings for Naoki unconsciously; she's still not aware of it.

c) Otaku comrades. Suzuki Souta is an Ikemen Otaku interested in Lolis characters. He's not interested in 3D.

d) In love with Midori after seeing her smile. She's the ideal Riajuu dream girl for him. Starting to make some progress with her thanks to Momo's help. At friendship level now.

e) Like any girl, she's attracted to the Ikemen (hunk/handsome) Suzuki Souta. Found out that he's an Otaku by chance and got Naoki to help her become an Otaku and overcome her weakness against men. Managed to talk to him during a cosplay event when she cosplayed one of his favorite characters. Other than that, Suzuki (who's not into 3D), is not aware of her yet. Her progress is much slower than Naoki's.

f) One of the first friends she made in high school. Currently friendship level.

g) Initially hated by Azuki, and thought that for a while even when it was no longer so. Finally, the misunderstanding got resolved, and now sees her as a fellow Otaku comrade. She's also big-breasted (totally Naoki's type), though Naoki's love interest is Midori (despite that, he occasionally played with the thought of what if 'such a girl' is his girlfriend.)

h) Weak against Otaku guys. Initially had an intense dislike for Naoki. But after knowing him better and seeing how he helped Momo, and the fact that some of their interests collide, she started developing a crush on him. Invited him to a Yuri anime movie. She's into both BL and Yuri.

i) Friends. Momo is one of the first friends Midori made in high school.

h) Good friends. Azuki found Momo to be cute and wanted her to cosplay with her. Momo was glad that she found a female Otaku friend who can teach her more about being an Otaku.


Even though there are slight differences, the love triangles resemble that of Toradora in the following manner:

Midori - Minori
Yuusaku - Souta
Azuki - Ami

I kind of had a sense where the relationships were heading minus the two at the end of the character comparison list. Even if it's like Toradora in terms of relationship plotting it's still its own story with characters with their unique personalities, motivations, and agendas.
