Indeed, that's why I avoid using positron or other fun stuff, too gamebreaker.
The positron, assuming you can pump 1 gram of it into enemy's shield, would have 9x 10^13 J, or 9.000.000.000.000 J / 41.000.000.000 = 219 TONS of TNT.
