L taunting Light at the end of episode 2
L: "But I L... definitely exist." Then he went on like "kill me! Kill me! Try to kill me!"
Then... "So there are people that can't be killed. Thanks for the hint."

The quote that probably explained what death note was going to be about.
Light: "L" ... & ... L: "Kira" ... ... both: "no matter what I will find you and do away with you!"
L: "Watashi wa" & Light: "Boku wa" ... ...both: "Justice!"
Ryuk: "You're both trying to find someone who you know nothing about, not even their name or face. Whoever gets found first will die."
