Note I said *everyone*
And the AARP is full of it, statistically, the elderly (including me) show significant declines in reaction time and visual acuity as they age. A government should focus expenditures on the areas that return the most bang for buck
However, my country has so many people of any age who can't drive for shit, I'd welcome periodic retesting and required continuing education for every license like airplane pilots have to undergo.
