If it weren't for the difference in story, universe, and mobile suits, they'd be almost entirely the same. Though still I found the end of Gundam Seed to be one of the best anime endings yet. That stuff was just CRAZY.

Don't think that was a surprise to anyone nor is anyone denying it. Seed was meant to be a shinier 21th Century rehash of MSG and it succeeded in that front.
