Yeah, I remember that scene. Actually it was Vamp's knife stabbed into him, but Raiden turned it into a weapon instead
the same with the fight on MG Rex, where Vamp locked Raiden's arms by planting his knives inside them. Talk about "I just don't fear death" mentality
I haven't seen that trailer you're talking about, but that's great news
EDIT: Oh, it turns out I've seen that already. I thought the pole weapon was kind of environmental pick-ups
but it's good to hear it's from boss fights.
