I've personally never seen GaoGaiGar, and considering its age and divisive genre (giant mecha/MotW), I doubt I'm the only one. But I know what you mean about Kouta's seiyuu. I personally will always know him as Kankuro Nishiyama ("Onimaru Miki~~!! Nya~!!") and of course Link.
What I was referring to was Kouta's name, which is the same as the famous Hellsing mangaka. And
they kinda look alike, too...
