Considering the work was originally in Japanese, I don't quite see the need to translate from Mandarin or Cantonese once Japanese raws are availalble. The Chinese dubs are, after all, derivative translations. You lose meaning every time you translate.
Besides, I'm not a fan of the Mandarin version insisting on calling Mao "Xiǎo Dāng Jiā" (literally, Little Majordomo) as both his nickname and his full name. He already has a full Chinese name (Liú Mǎo Xīng) available!
