This episode was a nice change of pace because it's a chance to see Kirito joining/working with other people, and sympathizing with an innocent tragic character. It's clear that he's been trying to avoid contact as you see with Klein and others at times, but seeing him connect with others (well someone, to an extent) and risking his life for an "urban legend" really showed development on his end, despite his desire to stay incognito.
@DXMicheal
It's Kirito, not Kiriko. Whether it was spelling error or whatever, just letting you know.
