Brindles can be pedigree (like mine) generally its just the striped colour/pattern of their coat that make them whats referred to as a brindle.
They have a light and dark brown (fawn and brindle) stripe pattern in their coats sort of like a tigers pattern.
I'm no expert by any means but thats what I gathered.
