Giant winged monstrosity, and final boss of a Dungeon; somebody tamed it and brought it outside to guard a building controlled by the 'Brain Burst research society'. Can only be harmed in a certain background, 'Hell', and without the mechanism in that dungeon to change the background at will Metatron's practically invincible out on the surface. Green Grande and some of his personal guards has been camping out in the Unlimited Burst world for months at a time figuring out the algorithm for backgrounds and a right time to attack too.

The Kings are against Metatron due to the people that controlled it, releasing pseudo-Disaster parasites that teach people how to use the IS system but also draws them into hatred, despair and such emotions.

EDIT: Just checked and found out there's 24 episode for this season's Accel World, not 12 like I had thought. I was pleasantly surprised.

But now I dread that instead of 2 volumes being covered it can feasibly cover 4 - that means the Dusk Taker arc as well >.> That was the most rage-inducing part of this entire series, Haru being NTR'ed in more than one sense, Chiyu being a COMPLETE bitch to Haru and Taku (sure she had her reasons and it was all a sham, that doesn't make me feel any better >.<), how Haru was coerced and played like a puppet on strings, and the implication of how he and Chiyu are being used by Dusk Taker.

F%$& Taker, he's among the few characters that can really make me feel hatred. Even after reading Vol3-4 all those years ago this still makes me go into RAEG...
