As I sat down and started reading the first chapter, I wondered just what the heck happened to it since the one shot. The major premise aside, the two seem almost entirely different.

All that aside, is it just me or is WSJ producing more teen romance titles as of late? Could it be indicative of a slight demographic shift towards love-struck teenagers?

Spoiler for chapter 1: For instance, the oneshot MC had reasonable levels of awkwardness you're find in an ordinary teenager, but then here in the first chapter, his awkwardness was raised several levels higher, making him a bit painful to watch. The situations felt a tad bit more contrived too. Still, it does seem to be faster paced than I'm used to, so I'll stick around for it. Let's just hope it doesn't fizzle out any time soon. All that aside, is it just me or is WSJ producing more teen romance titles as of late?
