Was everyone able to sleep properly?

I still can't sleep. When I'm watching news on TV, time just passes by in the blink of an eye.

I want to know how bad the situation is in Japan now and how people who live in the hardest hit areas are coping. I thought about what I could be able to do in this earthquake situation, but there's really not much I can do. I sincerely think I'd like to have the power to be more and more helpful.

From every event and from all your letters, I've always received a lot of power from everyone, and I'm really sorry that I'm not able to return the favour to you all now that such an important time has come.

I don't know what to say to all the victims, I really can't find the words...

But...

Please, please...

Let everyone be alright and safe. And more people be saved. I'm always praying from the bottom of my heart.

And to all the victims...

I'm watching on TV how much you are all doing your best. I think you're experiencing so much frightening feelings that nobody can even imagine and every scary or anxious feeling I've ever experienced until now can't possibly compare with that. I really hope all your family members and loved ones will be found soon.

I'm sorry if I'm not able to convey what I want to. But when I understood how much all of you are doing your best I thought I had to say something. I'm not sure if this blog will convey this to you, though. I'd be happy even if it just reaches at least one of you.

I'm not sure if the words of someone like me have some power. But I want to say "thanks" to everyone of you who's living. To all of the rescue teams, to everyone who, in these tough times, doing their best bearing it all.

I really want to thank you all.

I think even in this moment everyone's doing their best. It may seem presumptuous for me to say such things but, please, let the smile come back on the faces of all the victims.

Aki had a boy she liked in kindergarten and made chocolates with her mum to give to him on Valentines day. After making and bringing it, she never mustered the courage to give it to him during the day. Then, when the end of the day came, she was waiting at the school gate and saw him pass by.
