Me being the MGS fan as I am, I too will look forward to this game. Though.... Peace Walker comes first, seeing as Big Boss = Super Awesome. MGS3 still remains the favourite of the series for me~
Seeing as Kojima is going to be doing the latest Castlevania game, I can see how the gameplay might turn out. Course, like any MGS game, you can probably either go full stealth through missions and get said rewards like always, or you can do what alot of people do and just go gun crazy (..... lightning and sword crazy I guess in this case), and just kill everything in your waking path. I'm guessing that Kojima will put something in to stop your from just plain killing, as seen in MGS3 when you fight The Sorrow, or in MGS4 where you would constantly throw up from too much killing.
What I'm hoping for is that this game will show HOW Raiden got the ability to use lightning, and maybe WHY he was turned into the Gray Fox/Olga of this generation.
