If you happen to see this and you still dont know I'll tell you. It's because she basically stopped living her life in a way. Time stopped for her so she went out to do the things she should have been doing all along. It was very painful seeing her leave.
I finished reading this months ago. And looked at this thread do to thinking about it again since I showed a friend the anime and will get her to read the manga. Never has anything ever put me on such an emotional roller coaster as this. Even skimming through this thread brought it all back.
Anyone who has not read this and wants a good emotinal story should read.
