It's a list of "tear jerkers" Everything pretty much has some kind of romance, and in addition theres a mix of action, slice of life, fantasy, drama and probably some more.
Angel Beats! is my favorite anime of all time, it has romance, drama, action and a nice story.
But if you look through the animes listed there you might find something to your liking.
