The time capsule thing was quite cute, the mayor highlights were: the cook's speech to his son, Sorinozuka's comment on how Nobara, the cook's kid and him looked like a family (in my opinion Nobara is just a tsundere) and Watanuki's reaction when Karuta said that maybe Watanuki's reincarnation won't be friends with Karuta's reincarnation.
And Ririchiyo's confession with
that song being played. Just perfect. The scene was faithfully adapted so blame the author for not showing the kiss
The scene of Karuta and Ririchiyo at school after the kiss is 3 months later. And those scenes while the opening was sounding did happen in chapter 10 although in the anime they were a little rushed and left some things:
- Sorinozuka talking with his teacher about what he'll do when he graduates in high school
- Kagerou's visits with presents for everybody and Natsume only receiving a whip (this scene happened in episode 5 of the anime)
- The cultural festival scene apart from show Watanuki being dressed up as a girl (the video that Soushi recorded was sent to Sorinuzuka with the title of "r*ping the girlish boy"), it also showed that Ririchiyo's class made a rock-scissor-paper game where the loser had to wear costumes chosen by the winner (Soushi and Nobara reaaaaally enjoyed it
)
- More scenes with Ririchiyo and Soushi as a couple (like the moment when they officially decided to be a couple). The scene that appeared of Soushi and Ririchiyo in the car was their first date.
- The end of chapter 10 I can imagine why wasn't animated so no surprise.
And Soushi talking about wanting to have children and a family happens in chapter 14 in the manga. I was happy that they decided to made it into the anime but I preferred the manga version because the anime team didn't animate the full scene (specifically the moments that led up to Soushi to say that).
