I guess I can't give you any advise, since obviously, you didn't go looking for a quest, and hope they will throw them at your face instead. Some quests aren't just talking to trigger, but you have to have a certain thing in your inventory, or just happen to walk pass them, or have to be a right job, and you will get direction.
Everything you have stated about WoW, are in RO. Not that many quest, but not easy to do.
My opinion, don't give it any more chance, since this game isn't for you.
