She was finally starting to break free from her box office whoredom and try and become something of a real actor (not saying she is succeeding, and she is still cast as the "hot girlfriend" rather than for any real talent, but it is still a commendable goal she is trying to accomplish). (Here is hoping that Bay doesn't make her dye her hair. Seeing Fox in the role is already going to be silly enough, but seeing her with blond or red hair would be even worse.)
