Well, at least now we know it takes place somewhere between 1994 and 1996 (while canon material says 1994, the anime might just change things around a bit.)
Heh, for some reason, I feel the fact that the thing is set in the 90s (and depicted pretty darn accurately, might I add) increased my enjoyment of it...probably because of nostalgia.
